Cable car, busses and shuttles
To join the 20K and 100M start
You have two possibilities to join Verbier:
- Take the cable car Châble-Verbier (open 05:15 - 23:45) next to the railway station.
- Take your car to Verbier and try to find a car park.
Due to difficulties for finding parking places in Verbier we strongly recommend to take the cable car (CHF 6.-) and park for free in Le Châble.
To join the 50K start
Runners and supporters for the Verbier Marathon must take the cable car heading to Bruson, in Le Châble.
If you arrive by train in Le Châble, the cable car is just next to the station.
If you arrive by car in Le Châble leave it for free in the parking place of the cable car station.
The cable car will be open from 07:00 to 11:00 for runners and supporters (free transport).
If you are staying in Verbier, leave your car there and go down to Le Chable from Verbier (Medran station) also by cable car (CHF 6.-)
To join the 100K start
Runners and supporters for the X-Traversée must join the starting line by bus.
You have 2 possibilities:
- The Verbier - Le Châble - La Fouly line (compulsory booking soon online)
- The Orsières - La Fouly shuttles (no booking, free for everyone)
Lourtier and Brunet shuttles
To meet your runner at the Lourtier or Brunet aid stations you'll have to take the shuttles from Le Châble (in front of the railway station). No parking places are available in Lourtier and the road to Brunet is closed to private cars.
Repatriation and supporters busses
The busses below are available for repatriation after a DNF or at the end of your X-Traversée 100K (free for runners)
Supporters with a supporter ticket can also take any of these busses. You can buy a tiket on the venue at the information desk during the number withdrawal or before the event on your runner's personal folder (soon online).
