The event
Do you like mountain and its landscape?
Trail Verbier Saint-Bernard by UTMB is made for you!
The races
Trail Verbier St Bernard by UTMB is a mountainous trail running race, part of the international UTMB World Series. It offers each year 4 races accessible to passionate as well as to new trail runners.
The longest race, the X-Alpine, consists of a 140km loop from Verbier passing by different valleys and the Grand St-Bernard pass. Two other shorter races follow the final part of X-Alpine to pass by the most beautiful places of the area.
The shortest distance, follows the ridge above Verbier offering spectacular views on the Mt Blanc and Combin massifs.
There are also two challenges for youngsters in the street of Verbier. A 4-14 year old running race and a 12-17 year old orienteering race.
The venue
Every race finishes in Verbier. An authentic alpine village in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
Before becoming a touristic destination famous for its numerous outdoor activities, Verbier was once a remote alpine pasture where only a few farmers lived all year round. Even though it's now much bigger, its previous charm has been preserved and the old Verbier village hasn't changed much through time.
Verbier has got everything you need (hotels, appartments, restaurants, sport shops...) to welcome you before and after your race and can easily be reached by public transports.
