What's new in 2027

3 days of racing and 2 50K races: discover what's new for the 2027

Verbier Marathon X-Treme – 43 km / 3,000 m+ The current Verbier Marathon becomes the Verbier Marathon X-Treme. Its iconic passage over the summit of Mont Rogneux, at 3,084 m, remains part of the course. Technical and alpine, this route is designed for runners who already have experience on this type of terrain. Participation will be limited to 800 runners.

Verbier Marathon – 47 km / 2,900 m+ A new Verbier Marathon will bypass Mont Rogneux from Col de Mille via Cabane Brunet. Slightly longer but less technical, this new route offers a more accessible option for runners looking to discover the 50K format. Participation will be limited to 1,100 runners.

Both races will start on** Friday, July 9 from Moay (Bruson)** before splitting at Cabane de Mille.

The other race formats remain unchanged: X-Alpine 140 km, X-Traversée 77 km and Verbier X-Plore 28 km, along with the races for young participants.
