An orientation race for teenagers
You want to try an orientation race in the streets of Verbier? This race has been created for you! You can run solo or with a friend. You'll have to find different posts dispersed in the streets of Verbier. We'll give you a map and an chip just before your start and off you go.
Don't worry if you've never done that, it's made for a first step. Three categories for teenagers between 12 and 17 years old. Register online on our website. It's not mandatory to have a MyUTMB account.
To prepare for it, two afternoon workshops will be offered on two Wednesday afternoons in June.
The 5km race
The shortest route. A minimum of 5 km and 240m of D+ if you choose the best route to join the control points. The control posts are located in the forest and in the streets of Verbier.
The 7km race
If you're above 13 you can try the longer route. A minimum of 7 km and 350m D+ if you choose the best route to join the control points. The control posts are located in the forest and in the streets of Verbier.
As it's an orienteering race we won't publish a map before the event. We will give you one that you can take with you during the race right before your start.
The control posts will be indicated and you'll have to choose and find the best way to reach each of them in the correct order.
